The beams are being installed in the kitchen. They look even better than I expected. The guys really like the look and are enjoying the project and the challenge.

The beams are getting sized for installation.

Harry working his favourite toy.

Outside view of the finished fireplaces. Rocks from the ranch.

Harry going for a row, dodging "icebergs", to check on the house from the lake.

Bathroom floor, the tiles look like wood but are actually ceramic.

The guests' bathroom. Notice the cute little Petoskey stones, so cool looking!

The dry wall is all done upstairs.

Master bedroom.

The north end of one of my favourite rooms, the bunk room, with a tiny bathroom. A built-in vanity will be where the pink insulation is.

South end of the bunkroom

Lenny cleaning a 300 year-old oak beam which my dad sent me over 30 years ago. It finally has found a home: the mantle of the fireplace in the living room, upon approval of the big man on the right.

Our 2 handsome fireplace artists, re-grouting the kitchen fireplace. Nice, eh?

Screened porch from the dining room.

The stone fireplace on the screened porch, the closed french doors are from the library, the opened doors are from the living room. Even though it was very cold and windy that day, it was actually pleasantly warm on the screened porch.

The garage doors are installed.

The men are taking advantage of a snow melt to prep the roof for shingling and working on the chimney.

A crisp sunny day.

Another sunny day at Mullett Lake.
